Sensory Motor Rehabilitation
Sensory motor training is a valuable form of active care. This training can assist your body to maintain equilibrium on an automatic basis. Sensory motor dysfunction has been correlated with many disorders including ataxia; low back pain; neck pain; cervico-brachial syndromes; ankle instability; knee instability; osteoarthritis; vertigo; post stroke and selected cases of neuro-muscular/cognitive disorders. We have developed an innovative program to aid in sensory motor rehabilitation including training in proprioception, visual acuity, tactility, vestibular system coordination and cognitive based learning skills. The program will be delivered by a specialized team with expertise in sensory motor rehabilitation techniques. (In special cases, the rehabilitation provider may utilize the assistance of a certified therapy dog with your consent).
